Boys Basketball Info

Basketball Interest Form

As of now Boys and Girls Basketball are a GO for a Winter Season. We will use this for sign ups. We will NOT collect any money until practices begin. We really need to get an accurate number of who will be playing and if we will be able to make teams at each level. Please sign up for your correct age group.

Timeline: Practices beginning Mid-November. Practices will be held at nearby schools during the weekdays with some weekend options. Games will be held at nearby schools; games can be weekdays and weekends. We, as Smith do not get to choose our practice or game locations, they are given to us by the leagues.

At the first practice/assessment for your age group paperwork will need to be completed and payment deadline will be given.

Registration fee is $100. Smith Athletic Association fee is $10 per family/per sport season.
Uniform costs Jersey $35, shorts $20

-Full Practice will start week of November 29
-I will receive season schedules January 4-8.
-Jan 8 Season begins for NETS, INTER, JR & SR
-Jan 8 ROOKIE Clinics also begin
-Jan 15 Season begins for CUBS, BEARS & MINORS
-ROOKIE Games begin Feb 5th
-Season will run through beginning of March
We will not have schedules for practice until we know how many kids we will have so please use the SIGN UP SHEET on this page and other pages so we can try to get our numbers. We USUALLY practice twice a week. I do not have guidelines yet on mask at practice. The League will most likely follow CCPS sports guidelines in place at the time when making that call. I am also not sure yet about parents/guardians at practices but I know if they are allowed (I feel like will be) mask will be required because you are on school property. Previous coaches, you will be hearing from me soon and if anyone is interested in coaching, please reach out! I will keep everyone updated and of course you can email me any questions at [email protected]
